Polish entrepreneurs open up their services despite restrictions
Entrepreneurs were set to reopen their services on January 17, but they still need to wait as the government announced to extend restrictions by the end of the month.
Most owners are on the verge of collapses and lose their income as the restaurants, hotels, entertainment and fitness centers remain closed.
As a sign of the protest against the restrictions, restaurateurs decided to reopen their services on January 18 after were shut down due to the coronavirus.
The action has quickly spread throughout Poland and has gained the support of law firms. “We offer free soup to every policeman who plans to visit us”- writes the administration of one of Gdańsk bistros on Facebook.
