The Cannes film festival postponed to July 2021
At first, the festival was postponed on May 11-22 amid the first wave of the coronavirus pandemic. However, the initial dates, which were May 11-22, doesn’t seem feasible as France is on the verge of a new lockdown.
That’s why organizers decided that the festival will take place from Tuesday 6 to Saturday 17 July 2021.
The Cannes Film Festival has been running yearly since 1946 and this is the first time in history when organizers were compelled to change the date twice.
