More German airport strikes cause flight cancellations
Wildcat airport strikes in Germany have again caused major flight disruption.
Security staff walked out at Dusseldorf and Cologne/Bonn airports.
About 200 flights were canceled at Dusseldorf.
Dusseldorf is the fourth-busiest airport in Germany.
It will affect 16 British Airways flights and eight Eurowings flights to London.
Most of Cologne’s 130 scheduled departures were scrapped.
Verdi union members involved in the airport strikes are seeking a 10.5% pay rise.
The one-day ‘warning strikes’ continue until midnight at both the airports.
