AAA Travel appoints new vice president

AAA Travel has named Paula Twidale as new vice president, effective February 4, 2019.

Twidale replaces Bill Sutherland, who retired in December.

She spent nearly three decades with Collette and was most recently executive vice president with responsibility for teams in North America and the UK.

Twidale will lead strategy for all travel services at the motorist and leisure travel organization, as well as manage strategic alliances and oversee the implementation of tech solutions to support the network of AAA clubs.

“I am honored to join an organization with the respected history and brand reputation of AAA. Travel provides a great opportunity to build member engagement,” Twidale said.

Twidale is also board chair of United States Tour Operators Association.
