AirAsia launching Taipei flights to Boracay

AirAsiaAirAsia’s Philippines based unit will launch nonstop flights from Kalibo to Taipei next month.

The Taipei-Kalibo route will run eight times a week – twice every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Kalibo International Airport is one of two main gateways to the island of Boracay.

“We are the only airline that will connect travellers from Kalibo to Taipei and this exciting route is part of our commitment to provide connectivity,” said AirAsia Philippines CEO, Dexter M. Comendador.

The carrier already serves Taipei from Manila, Clark and Cebu.

Its existing international route network from Kalibo includes Busan, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Kunming, Macao, Seoul and Shanghai.
