Bannikin welcomes new manager to oversee travel trade business development
Bannikin Travel & Tourism announced that Terrilyn Kunopaski has taken on the role of Trade Development Manager, responsible for overseeing the company’s travel trade business development division.
In her new post, Terrilyn will be consulting with international tour operators and working to cultivate their relationships and sales in the North American market.
Terrilyn has nearly a decade of experience in Canada’s travel industry, specifically in roles with travel trade publication PAX Global Media and most recently, My Passion Media, where she was editor-in-chief of Canadian Traveller and trade-focused CT magazines. She played an integral role in innovation and growth within both organizations, while also becoming a trusted travel industry expert. With proven skills in partnership development, communications and business strategy, Bannikin Directors Jillian Dickens and Shannon Guihan are confident in Terrilyn’s ability to continue to move the needle forward for their growing business.
“Terrilyn has been a force in the travel communications space for many years, and it’s an honour to finally be working alongside her here at Bannikin,” says Dickens. ”Her dynamic, professional and enthusiastic approach to story telling, sales and relationship development in the travel industry has always impressed us. We are thrilled to welcome Terrilyn to the burgeoning Bannikin family.”
“Over the years, I have worked frequently with Bannikin and have come to admire the company’s business ethos and well-established identity within the sustainable and adventure travel niches,” Kunopaski says. “I am looking forward to applying the skills I’ve honed over the years in this new challenge.”
