Bright Brussels: Festival of Lights put on a show for over 180 thousands visitors

Bright Brussels

Bright Brussels, Festival of Light had put on a dazzling show for visitors from February 14-17.

14 Large-scale lighting installations designed by national and international artists illuminated some of the emblematic sites of the capital city’s iconic venues. On the initiative of Pascal Smet, Brussels Minister for Mobility and Public Works and Rudi Vervoort, the Minister and President of the Brussels region, visit.brussels has coordinated the arrangements for these majestic pieces right in the heart of the Capital of Europe.

For four days, the streets in the neighbourhoods of Béguinage – Quais and Dansaert glowed with fourteen sparkling displays and light animations. International artists and groups have flocked to some of the least known emblematic areas in the city especially for the occasion.

A wonderful opportunity for visitors to discover or rediscover these neighbourhoods in a whole new light. Hidden treasures such as the Béquinage quarter and the Pacheco Institute have revealed their best-kept secrets. More than 180,000 visitors explored the streets of Béguinage – Quais and Dansaert. See you next year for another edition of Bright Brussels, Festival of Light. Bright Brussels, Festival of Light stays open until 11 pm.
