Delta begins largest-ever transatlantic flight schedule
Delta Air Lines has begun its largest transatlantic schedule ever boasting more than 650 weekly flights across the pond in peak summer.
This marks a 30% increase in the airline’s seat capacity compared to 2022.
The line-up features 77 total routes to 32 destinations across Europe and beyond.
It includes destinations where Delta operates as the largest US carrier during peak summer, such as Italy, Iceland, France and Greece.
In the past three months the airline has launched or restarted 32 of these routes.
In March, Delta renewed a daily connection between Atlanta and Tel Aviv.
In May, the airline also introduced new daily flights between Atlanta and Nice complementing existing service from New York-JFK.
Atlanta customers can now fly direct to Edinburgh, following the launch of new daily service in May.
Delta has restarted Los Angeles flights to Paris year-round.
It also resumed daily transatlantic flights from LAX to London Heathrow.
Additionally, Delta has embarked on its biggest transatlantic schedule at New York JFK.
Operating more than 230 weekly departures to 26 destinations, the schedule includes new routes like Geneva and the return of seasonal routes like Venice and Prague.
