Denmark to introduce digital covid-19 passport

Denmark’s government has announced the introduction of digital coronavirus passports.

A new document is set to be released by the end of February. The COVID-19 digital passport is a document which proves that a person has been vaccinated against coronavirus.

Moreover, the passport will be launched on sundhed.dk which is the Danish digital health portal. However, the document will initially be available only to business travelers.

Danish government hopes the passport can be the first step that will allow to come back to normal life and gradually lift restrictions.
