Gulf carrier Emirates will connect Phnom Penh and Bangkok with a new daily service from its Dubai hub.

Set to launch on June 1, 2019, the Dubai to Phnom Penh route via Bangkok offers more full-service flight options between the two Southeast Asia capitals as well as connections from Emirates’ global network of 150 destinations.

Emirates has been serving Phnom Penh since July 2017 and has carried about 100,000 passengers to date.

“We are pleased to enhance our services to these popular Southeast Asian destinations and offer more choices for travellers in Cambodia and Thailand,” said Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ divisional SVP, strategic planning, revenue optimisation and aeropolitical affairs.

Travellers will also get access to numerous domestic and regional routes via Emirates’ codeshare agreements with Bangkok Airways, Jetstar Pacific and Jetstar Asia.
