Federalberghi Capri: Lorenzo Coppola is the new president

Change at the top of Federalberghi Island of Capri. Lorenzo Coppola is the new president and succeeds Sergio Gargiulo, who has led the association since 1990.

Coppola, a 29-year-old entrepreneur graduating in Management of tourism companies in Naples, is the owner of the Hotel San Michele in Anacapri.

“I’ve been working in the family hotel since I was a child – he commented after his election -, I’ve been in the association since 2017 where I’ve had the role of vice president for the last five years. Today it is an honor for me to lead it”.

“My commitment – he continued – will be to lead an association that is inclusive, transversal and politically active on the most delicate issues relating to the sector. Tourism means hospitality and welcome, but it also means showing one’s territory to the world and this is why it is our duty to enhance it. We will work together in continuity with the valuable work carried out to date by each member, by the management team and above all by the president Sergio Gargiulo, who remains a heritage for the entire community”.
