Fiat Chrysler will invest $204 million in Poland
Auto giant Fiat Chrysler Automobiles will invest $204 million in its Polish manufacturing plant in city of Tychy where Chrysler’s is going to produce new hybrid and electric vehicle.
This investment is an impulse for the largest emerging European economy, which hopes that the switch to electric vehicles may help to catch up with regional rivals, like the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The company expects to begin production of the first of the three new models at its plant in Tychy in the second half of 2022.
Moreover, the plant located in the industrial region of southern Silesia, Poland, is one of the company’s largest and currently employs about 2,500 people.
