Fly Uganda launches scheduled flights to Bwindi

Fly Uganda has launched flights to Kihihi, making travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park easier.

Starting November 2, the airline will fly three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between its base in Kajjansi, halfway between Kampala and Entebbe, and Kihihi. From Kihihi, it is only an hour’s drive to the park’s main gate in Buhoma.

The flight schedule is as follows:

• Flights will depart Kajjansi at 08h00, arriving in Kihihi at 09h30.
• Return flights will depart Kihihi at 10h00, arriving in Kajjansi at 11h30.

The flight is US$236 one way, including fees and taxes. Bookings must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
