Gazprom decided to withdraw its shares from Overgas
Gazprom has completed its withdrawal from Bulgaria gas company Overgas. A stake has been reduced in Bulgarian Overgas from 50% to zero. The transaction was finalized on 27 of January.
Moreover, Russian Gazprom expects that it will receive more than 100 million euros in the settlement.
Bulgarian Overgas was founded in 1991 and currently operates a total of 2,400 kilometers of natural gas distribution pipelines in the country. The company has invested so far over 340 million euros in the construction of distribution pipelines.
