From 6 to 10 March 2019 the 53rd ITB Berlin will be presenting the entire range of products that the international travel industry has to offer. Senior figures from the industry will also be there. LGBT Media Brunch

The huge prospects that medical tourism has to offer the global tourism industry will be highlighted at ITB Berlin. Medical tourism has been increasing for many years. For the third time we are organising a Medical Tourism Pavilion in Hall 21b which is devoted entirely to this rapidly expanding and important segment.

From cultural or adventure trips to beach or hiking vacations to business or city travel: Each year at the ITB BookAwards an independent jury bestows prizes to outstanding literary or journalistic works in the area of travel and tourism. David Ruetz, head of ITB Berlin and chair of the jury, invites you to attend the Award Ceremony at the Palais am Funkturm.

The event will be hosted by Mary Amiri, with artistic support provided by Istana Budaya, Kuala Lumpur.

Afterwards, a get-together will take place in the foyer at 5.15 p.m..

About ITB Berlin and the ITB Berlin Convention

ITB Berlin 2019 will be taking place from Wednesday, 6 to Sunday, 10 March, and from Wednesday to Friday will be open to trade visitors only. ITB Berlin is the World’s Leading Travel Trade Show. In 2018 a total of 10,000 companies and organisations from 186 countries exhibited their products and services to around 170,000 visitors, including 110.000 trade visitors. Parallel with the show the ITB Berlin Convention, the largest event of its kind, will be held from Wednesday, 6 to Saturday, 9 March 2019.
