Elevating Jordan’s high-end hospitality portfolio, Al Manara, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Saraya Aqaba has officially opened its doors for business.
The property, which has been developed by Eagle Hills Jordan, is home to 207 rooms, including 43 suites and two villas, and offers travellers a modern, high-end hospitality experience which reflects Jordan’s charming heritage through its design, architecture and décor.
Thrilled with the launch, president and managing director, Marriott International Middle East and Africa, Alex Kyriakidis said: “The opening of Al Manara Hotel marks the entry of The Luxury Collection brand in Jordan, and the first Marriott International luxury property in Aqaba – ‘The Jewel of the Red Sea’. We look forward to offering global explorers new and authentic travel experiences alongside warm Jordanian hospitality.”
Also commenting was executive director of operations, Eagle Hills Jordan, Abdallah Al Fraihat: “Eagle Hills Jordan is delighted to continue expanding its relationship with Marriott International, and to introduce yet another internationally renowned brand to Jordan. As the leading developer in the Kingdom, we are thrilled to launch Aqaba’s newest landmark, combining Jordan’s deep history and captivating charm with contemporary luxury.”
The brand-new property is home to a number of dining venues, including Taybeh Al Manara, serving northern Mediterranean cuisine with an international flair; Kubba Levantin, a casually elegant Middle Eastern restaurant; and Amwaj, serving the freshest seafood from the Red Sea, among others.
Other facilities include a private beach and boutique pool; water sports such as scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, parasailing and paragliding; and a spa offering an incredible range of treatments and facilities.
Al Manara, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Saraya Aqaba represents the second collaboration between Marriott International and Eagle Hills Jordan, following the debut of W Amman earlier this year. An additional two hotel partnerships will follow with the inauguration of The St. Regis Amman and The Westin Saraya Aqaba in the following months.
