Lufthansa working hard

European airlines – including Lufthansa, Air France KLM – have started to organise repatriation flights to bring foreign nationals home from Southern Africa. The Lufthansa Group began repatriation flights last week from Namibia for stranded German tourists.

The airlines will also bring vacationers on behalf of the Federal Foreign Office from New Zealand back to Europe. The company is working hard! However, the future is uncertain. Ulrik Svensson, Member of the Executive Board and Chief Financial Officer of Deutsche Lufthansa AG, informed the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the company that he has to resign from his office for health reasons. Changes are in store!
