New France strike next month expected to cause travel chaos
More travel disruption is expected with another France strike next month.
More pension protests are set to cause domestic travel chaos on Tuesday March 7.
The U.K. Foreign Office warned Brits to prepare for disruption the day before and the day after the France strike.
“Industrial action may start the evening before and run until the morning after.”
“Localised or sector-specific strikes could also occur outside these dates.”
It advises all travellers to check the latest advice with operators before travelling.
Unions said the strike on 7 March could become a weekly occurrence.
France’s public transport will likely be a major focus for walkouts.
Unions told French media it will ‘bring France to a standstill’.
