No more diving in Egypt
Egyptian Ministry of Tourism decided to block the establishment of new diving centers in Red Sea. The Minister, Rania Al-Mashat, released a statement that banned the issuing of new licences for diving centers.
This ban will last for a year. The decision does not concern the kitesurfing and windsurfing facilities. The main motivation for this decision is the care and preservation of Coral Reef. The Reef is located along the shores of the Red Sea, the Gulf of Suez and the Gulf of Aqaba. More than a thousand species of fish live there among 250 kinds of corals.
