Oyo hires former IndiGo boss
India’s fastest growing hospitality brand Oyo has hired former IndiGo president Aditya Ghosh.
Aditya was announced as CEO of its India and South Asia operations.
He officially joins the company on December 1, 2018 as head of India and Nepal and will take on wider responsibilities as it expands in the region.
He will be tasked with driving growth in these markets and improve the overall customer experience.
“As we grow our business, we feel it is essential to continue to invest in building one of the most influential leadership teams in professionals with an entrepreneurial mindset. We are confident that he will be able to help Oyo Hotels set new benchmarks in the hospitality industry,” said Oyo Group CEO Ritesh Agarwal.
He was instrumental in turning IndiGo into India’s largest airline by market share and the only one that consistently turned a profit.
Under his leadership, IndiGo went public and launched its first international operations.
