Poland: visa fees waived for Belarusians

Polish Foreign Minister, Zbigniew Rau signed a decree on December 29 which waives the visa fee for Belarusians citizens.

Belarusians do not need to pay when applying for a Polish national visa (type D) since 2015 yet the deadline expired in December 2020. Now the government has decided to extend the fee exemption for the next two years until 31st December 2022.

Moreover, the deadline for Schengen visa-free for certain category of Belarusian citizens has been extended by the end of the 2022.

It applies to all children ages 6 to 18 and youth up to 25 years old who participate in non-profit organizations such as seminars, conferences, educational, cultural, and sporting events.
