Polish tourist travel during Christmas

More and more tourists from Poland decide to travel during Christmas and New Year. Those are the statistics of Travelplanet.pl portal.

According to those, some destinations are already overbooked and there’s no free accommodation. About 1/3 of travelers using the services of travel agencies will visit Egypt. 15% of Polish tourist chooses Canary Islands. In the third place is Turkey. In Top 5 there are also Malta, one of the most Catholic country in Europe, and Italy, paradise for ski lovers.

The majority of the holidays chosen is the package holidays for whole families. There is also a growing trend in holidays including Christmas Eve. Just few seasons ago travelers would opt to spend Christmas Eve at home. However, right now the trend is changing and more and more tourists decide to include December 24th in their holiday plans.
