Russia cruise industry loses over $100m due to Ukraine war

The Ukraine war has cost the Russia cruise sector an estimated $100 million.
Other eastern European ports away from the war zone benefitted, according to a report by cruise retailer Panache Cruises.
Cruise tourists have been spending money in Estonia and Latvia instead.
Saint Petersburg has long been a highlight on Baltic Sea cruises and has been hit hardest by the war.
Baltic ports Tallinn and Riga have been the big beneficiaries.
It estimates the number of tourists visiting Estonia and Latvia has doubled due to the Russia cruise suspension.
