Ryanair powers all Amsterdam flights with sustainable aviation fuel
Ryanair is now operating all ex-Amsterdam flights with sustainable aviation fuel.
It expanded its partnership with SAF supplier, Neste.
SAF is powering its full schedule of Amsterdam flights with a 40% blend.
Ryanair’s goal is to operate 12.5% of LL flights with SAF by 2030.
Ryanair’s Director of Sustainability, Thomas Fowler said: “Ryanair is delighted to extend from a third of flights to our entire Amsterdam operation.”
“Increasing the use of SAF is a fundamental pillar of our Pathway to Net Zero by 2050 decarbonisation strategy.”
Nestle said it is increasing annual sustainable aviation fuel production capability to 1.5 million tons per year by the end of 2023.
