THAI Flights Bangkok-Osaka Cancellation Extends
Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) announced an extension of its Bangkok-Osaka flight cancellation to 13 September 2018, and passengers holding THAI tickets on the Bangkok-Osaka route can change their travel itineraries without any fees and changes until 20 September 2018.
Flight Lieutenant Pratana Patanasiri, THAI Vice President, Aviation Safety, Security and Standards, said that Kansai Airport is severely affected by Typhoon Jebi and it has announced that the airport will remain close until further notice. THAI, therefore extends its flight cancellation period between Bangkok and Osaka until 13 September 2018 with the following schedule:
- Flight TG672 which was scheduled to depart from Suvarnabhumi Airport at 08.25 hours and arrive at Kansai Airport, Osaka, at 15.55 hours (local time).
- Flight TG673 which was scheduled to depart from Kansai Airport, Osaka, at 17.35 hours (local time) and arrive at Suvarnabhumi Airport at 21.25 hours.
- Flight TG622 which was scheduled to depart from Suvarnabhumi Airport at 23.30 hours and arrive at Kansai Airport, Osaka, at 07.00 hours (local time) on the next day.
- Flight TG623 which was scheduled to depart from Kansai Airport, Osaka, at 11.45 hours (local time) and arrive at Suvarnabhumi Airport at 15.35 hours.
THAI passengers holding roundtrip tickets between Bangkok and Osaka during 3-20 September 2018 may reroute to other destinations in Japan which are Tokyo (Narita and Haneda), Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Sapporo, within 20 September 2018.
