The Turkish government tightened covid-19 related restrictions
Turkey has tightened restrictions on international entry as a part of its plan to reduce the spread of coronavirus disease. Since 28 of December all passengers traveling to Turkey from abroad by air must provide evidence of having tested negative for COVID-19 using a polymerase chain reaction (PCR). In addition test has to be taken within no more than 72 hours prior to entry.
However, if a traveller had visited the UK, Denmark or South Africa within 10 days before coming to Turkey, they have to self-isolate for 10 days.
The quarantine may end before the deadline by conducting the PCR test on the 7th day of self-isolation.
