TUI expands its new hotel brand
TUI is adding a ski hotel and four new beach properties to its new TUI Blue hotel brand.
A 149-room hotel, the TUI Blue Pulse Montafon, is being built in the Austrian villages of Schruns-Tschagguns for summer 2019.
In addition, suitable properties from TUI Hotels & Resorts existing portfolio are being rebranded as TUI Blue hotels from summer 2018. These include TUI Blue Rocador in Majorca, TUI Blue Falesia in Portugal, TUI Blue Palm Beach Palace in Djerba and TUI Blue Marmaris Imperial in Turkey.
“TUI Blue is the focus of TUI Group’s hotel strategy and a key driver of our growth roadmap, alongside well-known brands such as Riu and Robinson,” said Thomas Pietzka, managing director TUI Hotels & Resorts. “In order to achieve a significant size with our new brand, we will not only build new hotels but also reposition existing properties.”
Further hotels are scheduled for repositioning for winter 2018/19 and summer 2019.
“The extremely positive customer feedback for our existing TUI Blue hotels has shown that our concept has been very well received,” said Artur Gerber, managing director TUI Blue.
“By launching our next growth phase, we will not only expand the portfolio of destinations for our existing customers, but offer even more people the opportunity to get to know our new experience hotel brand.”
TUI Blue has already launched six hotels within one year. The next new hotel will be TUI Blue Jadran in Croatia, opening in summer 2017.
