Turkish Airlines now offering twice-weekly services to Banjul in Gambia

Bolstering its Africa connectivity, Turkish Airlines officially launched twice-weekly services to Banjul, Gambia’s capital, yesterday.

The new flights will operate in connection with Dakar flights.

Following the launch of these new services, the Turkish carrier has boosted its Africa flight network to 54 and now reaches 123 countries and 305 destinations spanning the globe.

Commenting at the launch ceremony, senior vice president of sales, Turkish Airlines, Kerem Sarp declared: “We believe that Africa will increase its importance in world tourism and trade in the short- and long-term. We keep investing in Africa’s potential. Banjul is the 54th destination in our African network.”
