Virgin Atlantic restarting Dubai flights

Virgin Atlantic is relaunching Dubai flights from London Heathrow.

The four times a week seasonal winter service will operate on Boeing Dreamliners from 28 October 2023 through March.

Fights can be booked from 7 June 2023.

The relaunch of the route will complement Virgin’s two newly announced premium sunshine destinations – the Maldives and Turks and Caicos.

Virgin Atlantic last operated flights to Dubai in March 2019.

Tour operating arm Virgin Atlantic Holidays offers a portfolio of more than 30 properties throughout Dubai and the region.

The new service will offer easy connections for customers from Dubai via London Heathrow to destinations throughout North America.

These include New York, Seattle, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

The carrier also announced an expansion to services from Manchester Airport.

New services to Las Vegas will commence in summer 2024 joining leisure flights to Orlando and Barbados.

The new Manchester service will operate on one of Virgin Atlantic’s newest aircraft, the Airbus A350-1000.

In a further enhancement, Virgin Atlantic will launch Caribbean inter-island flying.

From 14 June, Virgin Atlantic will be the only UK airline offering flight connections from Barbados to Grenada or St Vincent and the Grenadines.

The new inter-island services will provide travellers more opportunities for a two-centre Caribbean holiday.
