Virgin opens private space within Universal Resort
Virgin Holidays become the first travel company to be granted a private area within Universal Orlando Resort for its customers.
The first-of-its-kind v-hub in the Aventura Hotel will be available to Virgin guests throughout their stay.
A light breakfast will be served in the area, which doubles as a space where guests can update their social media accounts using the free wifi. There are also shower facilities for guests who’ve already checked out of their rooms to freshen up for their flight home.
It is the first time that Universal Orlando Resort has allowed a travel or tourism company to open an exclusive offering on its premises.
A Virgin Holidays staff member will always be on hand to answer on queries relating to frequently asked questions – park opening times, flight departures and any questions on options for luggage storage, said the operator.
Virgin Holidays head of USA product Angus Bond said: “We make every moment of a holiday feel special – from the second you book, to the minute you arrive back home.
“This partnership is designed to ensure our customers get the most from their holiday, by grabbing a quick breakfast prior to hitting the parks or making the most of your last day with access to shower facilities.
“The fact we are the first travel and tourism company to ever pioneer a concept like this with Universal Orlando Resort is a testament to the strength of our relationship and cements our position as the number one international tour operator to Florida.”
