Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts has unveiled plans to open a mountain resort on Nevada’s side of Lake Tahoe in 2027.

Set to operate year-round, the 15-acre Waldorf Astoria Lake Tahoe will be located within Nevada’s Crystal Bay and Incline Village community, comprising 76 guestrooms and 61 branded residences. The Hilton-managed property will feature contemporary architecture and design elements, showcasing materials like wood, natural stone and metal.

The resort will be home to what the brand describes as “an upscale casino,” offering live entertainment and a speakeasy.

Guests will also have access to a three-acre lakefront beach club on Lake Tahoe’s north shore as well as a gondola-side mountain club at NorthStar Ski Resort, which will offer dedicated ski valet service.

Other amenities will include several food and beverage outlets; a “community grove” promenade area, featuring a mix of retail and dining options; and a Waldorf Astoria Spa and fitness facility.

The Waldorf Astoria brand, which is part of Hilton’s luxury portfolio, currently has more than 45 existing properties worldwide.
