Warsaw Royal Route – the city’s most famous route
During holidays and weekends, the Royal Route is closed for cars and public transport to enable tourists to stroll around freely.
Earlier on, the city’s authorities planned that road will be closed to traffic by 6 of January.
However, they decided to keep the route closed until 17 of January. The decision was made since the winter holidays in all voivodeships are held at the same time (from January 4 to 17).
Tourists and residents are especially willing to visit the Royal Route which now is illuminated with Christmas lights in various shapes and colors.
