Where the Poles will spend this year’s Christmas?

Christmas is both unforgettable moments with family and atmosphere of magic, as well as another opportunity during the year to travel. On holidays, we not only celebrate, but also rest and load positive energy, more and more often on the go. We are much more likely than ever to give up the richly set table for a multi-day trip both at home and abroad. On the list of the top 10 destinations selected by the Poles for a Christmas trip this year included London, Paris, Tel Aviv, Barcelona.

The cheapest day of departure in the holiday fever?

The period between Christmas and the New Year is the beginning of the winter peak of the season, which means increased traffic and relatively high prices of air tickets. Therefore, to buy a ticket at a really good price, it should be done well in advance, optimally around 2-2.5 months before departure. Most Polish Skyscanner users know it well, planning a trip around 65 days before departure. However, the analysis of Skyscanner shows that 38% of users prefer to buy a ticket, leaving it for the last minute (0-40 days before departure).People planning to spend holidays on a trip should remember that the cheapest day of departure is December 24, while next holiday days, due to the increased traffic, will be relatively more expensive. According to the Skyscanner analysis, we will spend an average of PLN 224 on airline tickets.

Skyscanner has checked which countries in Poland were most likely to go on holiday trips this year. It should not be surprising that the list opens with London, which for years has been ranked number one, and the following places are dominated by warm and sunny directions:
