In 2025, the UK will showcase an impressive calendar of cultural and musical events.
Bradford will become the UK City of Culture and the first UNESCO City of Film, with the William Shakespeare Museum opening in the historic Curtain Playhouse in Shoreditch this spring. Summer will see the reopening of the Jewry Wall Museum in Leicester and the British Museum hosting the exhibition “Britain’s Gladiators.”
The year will also celebrate the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen’s birth, with events at locations tied to her novels. On the music scene, Oasis will perform in Cardiff, Manchester, London, and Edinburgh, while Kylie Minogue embarks on her spring Tension Tour, visiting cities like Glasgow, Newcastle, and Manchester. Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, and Coldplay will also hold major concerts in cities including London, Manchester, and Nottingham.
