Air France adds new destinatons

Air France is increasing its capacity for the March 31 to October 27 summer season. It will also offer several new long- haul, medium and short- haul routes during this period.

Its long haul network will increase by 0.7% with the addition of two new services from Paris-Charles de Gaulle. The carrier will service Dallas from March 31 to the end of the season with five weekly flights using an Airbus A330. Quito in Ecuador will begin on June 26 with three weekly flights operated by JOON initially and taken over by Air France later.

Its medium to short-haul network will increase by 0.3% by offering new destinations and connections with 24 new routes.

The 2019 summer season sees five new routes added for departure from Paris-Charles de Gaulle compared to the 2018 summer schedule. These include Belgrade (Serbia), Tbilissi (Georgia), Lorient (France), Lyon and Brest.

Nineteen new routes will be added during the 2019 peak summer period for departure from Paris-Charles de Gaulle compared to last year. These include: Heraklion (Crete, Greece), Olbia (Sardinia, Italy), Palermo (Sicily, Italy) and Split (Croatia). Departures from the French regions include: Bordeaux – Athens (Greece), Toulouse – Copenhagen (Denmark) and Minorca (Spain), Marseille – Heraklion (Greece) and La Rochelle (France), Brest – Bastia (France) and Nice (France), Caen – Calvi (France), Nice – La Rochelle (France) and Pau (France), Rouen – Figari (France), Nantes – Toulon (France), Metz – Figari (France), Perpignan – Strasbourg (France) and Rennes – Calvi (France).
