PKP Intercity – additional carriages before Christmas

PKP Intercity is prepared to connect additional carriages to trains running during the Holiday season, and mobile informers will be on the biggest stations to assist travelers.

The carrier announced that it expects an increased number of passengers from Friday, December 21, as many people will embark on a Christmas trip that day. That’s why at six main stations in the country, among others in Gdańsk, Krakow and Warsaw, the reserve carriages will be secured.

The company also announced that on 21 and 22 December at the largest Polish stations – Central, Eastern and Western Warsaw, Gdańsk, Gdynia, Wrocław, Kraków Główny, Katowice, Poznań and Szczecin, mobile informers will be available to travelers. They will help passengers find convenient connections, or find the right platform.

As PKP Intercity informs, at the largest parking station in Poland – Warsaw Grochów – all winter will operate a special device, distributing a special preparation to prevent excessive icing of railway vehicle chassis.
