Union Unite confirmed the end of Scottish airport strikes.

The long-running pay dispute involving 120 Unite members at Highlands and Islands Airport Limited (HIAL) Group is over.

The revised pay offer from HIAL has been accepted.

The pay dispute had resulted in industrial action or airport strikes across all eleven locations.

The pay deal ensures a basic salary rise of 7% for those earning up to £44,000, and a 5% increase to shift allowances.

Unite represents security staff, baggage handlers, ground crew, fire and rescue, security and admin workers.

HIAL is a private limited company wholly-owned by the Scottish Government.

The eleven HIAL airports are Barra, Benbecula, Campbeltown, Dundee, Inverness, Islay, Kirkwall, Stornoway, Sumburgh, Tiree and Wick.
