Flight Centre acquire luxury travel operator Scott Dunn

Travel group Flight Centre Ltd is set to make a new travel acquisition.

It sealed a deal to acquire UK luxury travel brand Scott Dunn.

The deal is valued at US$150 million.

Flight Centre said it expects the deal to complete by the end of February.

FLT say the acquisition of Scott Dunn gives it a foothold in the luxury travel space.

Scott Dunn designs tailor-made travel experiences for the UK, US, and Singapore markets .

“Scott Dunn provides us with the opportunity to grow our leisure presence in the large UK and US luxury markets,” said MD Graham Turner.

“We are also fast-tracking development of a global luxury collection of travel brands.”
